Online orders are terrible! I made an order on the 11th of November. I haven’t received my order yet it took over a week for them to realize they are out of stock, then it was sent via express post but it went back to Victoria twice when I’m based in NSW. It says my package was delivered but I’m not sure to who as it went back to Victoria. Customer service is dismal as I tried calling and no one answers after waiting over 15 minutes I gave up and sent an email. Still no reply.
This relates to Shaver Shop NZ (Christchurch).
I live in a semi-rural area. Order and delivery by courier was good, but I was sent the wrong product. Once I made phone contact (not easy), the mistake was acknowledged and replacement arranged. The courier company made return of the wrong product unnecessarily difficult, and Shaver Shop took an aggressive "it's your problem" attitude. Not impressed, and won't be a returning customer.

Why does Shaver Shop offer a same day delivery service when this option is never available on checkout. When I queried this I was told that it is because the item is not in stock however I subsequently tried any number of other products all with the same result.
Worst customer service ever, store manager on lonsdale in Melbourne denied me warranty because of a few hairs on a hair trimmer. I felt really scammed
I’ve ordered several times from Shaver Shop and I’ve never encountered an issue. Everything arrived quickly and was great quality. I liked their free shipping and welcome discount code as well. They do send a LOT of emails if you’re subscribed to them but they are just advertising sales (which are definitely worth waiting for as the prices are really good on hair tools!)
Purchased a 'Finishing Touch flawless hair remover from the New Zealand website. Delivery was super fast but sadly that's where the positive' s ended. The product I received was not the one as advertised and is basically useless when it comes to hair removal.
The packaging is different and the product is made by Idea village not Finishing Touch who make the genuine product.
Thankfully I used PayPal so can raise a problem and also escalate to PayPal if needed. It took 5 days to get a response, they asked for photos which I sent 2 days ago and another follow up email which is still waiting for a reply. Customer service could definitely be improved.
My advice is ... if you must buy from the Shaver Shop then make 100% sure that the product is genuine before you part with your money. I won't be buying from them again and am disappointed that a company like Shaver Shop is selling fake products.
Purchased a WAHL beard trimmer on-line, then 6 months later charger stopped working. Took charger and trimmer to Carindale store.
Staff were extremely helpful and offered to swap it over for a brand new boxed product.
Couldn't have been an easier transaction.
Ordered online and shipping was very quick. There was an issue with the order and customer service responded and fixed the problem super quick. Very impressed.

Pathetic Customer service.. still waiting for a resolution after 2 months. DISGUSTING!!!
Unresponsive customer service. took 7 days to have a confirmation email sent. Order still not shipped. I've emailed 4 times with no response. Wont shop here again.
After purchasing a $490 shaver, I was disappointed to find it did not work as they specified.
When I requested a refund, as per their refund policy you can get a refund if the product doesn’t work as specified, they told me to take it up with the manufacturer. The manufacturer will refund it, but it will take ~90 days to get the money back. This goes against Australian consumer law where the shop cannot just hand me off to the manufacturer without help - they alone must accept responsibility. I bought this only a few days ago!
As per Australian consumer law, the device is performing poorly in a way that, had I known prior to purchasing it, I would not have bought it. This is contradictory to the marketing and statements on the Shaver Shop website. So their advertising was also misleading “perfect shave in one stroke”
The lack of support from the customer service team who claim “we are offering you a solution” was ridiculous. Their solution goes against Australian consumer law, so how is that a solution?
I’m reporting my experience and the misleading advertisements to the respective bodies. Never plan on dealing with this lot again.
